Gorgeous blooms all summer
I planted this tiny plant in May when the Pacific Northwest was clear from danger of frost and by June it was exploding with beautiful blooms that graduated from maroon to pink to orange to yellow. It bloomed all summer until the first frost. I don’t know if it requires deadheading, but I did it anyway to keep it looking tidy. The deadheading was a tedious, yet meditative process that required scissors instead of pruning clippers because the stems are so tiny and abundant. I love, love, love this plant!
