Large cultivar with an excellent habit and vigor
Leaves are large, thick, glossy, and angular with a shape reminiscent of a sycamore leaf
Slightly open habit allows for the occasional glimpse of the purple underside of the leaf
Uniform shape
‘Bronze Wave’ also has a uniquely attractive floral display
Small, creamy-white flowers are not particularly striking individually, but they create a beautiful effect en masse
Flowering stalks was modest at first but steadily increased so that by the third season each plant had well over 60 inflorescences
Overall visual display was something uniquely beautiful and almost grass-lik
Bleaches and burns if grown in full sun we only recommended for part shade – full shade conditions
